Dulwich Picture Gallery
Britain's oldest public art gallery
'The most beautiful small art gallery in the world' - Sunday Telegraph. Set in landscaped gardens the Gallery is home to an outstanding collection of old master paintings.
Sir John Soane's seminal gallery - recently refurbished with a Lottery grant - includes works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Canaletto, Poussin and Gainsborough.
The Gallery provides an exceptional backdrop for up to 120 for a seated dinner and 350 guests can be invited to a standing reception amongst the Old Masters. You and your guests can enjoy exclusive access to the Gallery which can cater for any event from wedding ceremonies to intimate champagne receptions, from concerts to private dinners.
The Linbury Room and Picture Gallery Café, run by Digby Trout, were designed by Rick Mather as part of the new extension, are available for lunches, dinners, and receptions. The Linbury Room can also be transformed into auditorium style seating for lectures and presentations, with up to 109 audience members. These areas are also linked to the Gallery by our modern cloisters which provide a fabulous mingling area for many events with exceptional views over our beautiful grounds.
A list of approved caterers is available on request.
