The exquisite Fan Museum, unique in the world, combines a classic location with the height of elegance to provide an ideal setting of great character for smaller functions.

The Fan Museum is the only museum in the world entirely dedicated to the history of fans. It is housed in beautifully restored 18th century townhouses in the centre of Maritime Greenwich - a World Heritage Site. This independent museum has received awards from the National Art Collections Fund and the British Tourism Authority for its outstanding contribution to the arts and tourism, and has been described as 'an oasis of tranquillity' and 'an artistic and architectural gem'.

At the rear of the two houses, the elegant Orangery with its hand painted murals has an enchanting and peaceful atmosphere. It overlooks a Japanese style garden preceded by a formal French parterre.

In the evening guests have exclusive use of the entire museum and can enjoy a private tour of the temporary exhibition. The museum provides the perfect setting for intimate dinners, stylish drinks receptions, christenings, weddings, and board meetings.
