Henry VIII's palace by the Thames

The flamboyant Henry VIII is most associated with this majestic palace, which he extended and developed in grand style after aquiring it from Cardinal Wolsey in the 1520s. He lavished money on fabulous tapestries and paintings, which can still be seen in many of our exquisite rooms today.

The Tudor Buildings that remian are among the most important in existence, but the elegance and romance of the palace owes much to the baroque buildings commissioned by William and Mary at the end of the 17th century. The palace is set in 60 acres of beautiful gardens, which include the famous Maze and the awe-inspiring Great Vine which dates back to 1768.

There are a variety of rooms available to hire for dinners, receptions, weddings and conferences. Business 'away-days' can also be organised in variety of styles. Any of these events will be made more memorable set against the backdrop of the fascinating history and stories of the palace.

Hampton Court Palace - A new way to hire.

Clients who have up to 200 guests and find they are not able to hire the palace exclusively due to costs can now book specific packages that allow you to use select areas of the palace on a non-exclusive basis rather than hiring the entire palace. This new way to hire gives greater freedom for both corporate and private events with substantial savings for clients to allow them more opportunity to experience the thrill of entertaining within one of the most majestic palaces ever built.
