Housed within Georgian and Italianate buildings, and home to a world-renowned collection of steam engines, Kew Bridge Steam Museum was built by the Grand Junction Waterworks Company and supplied West Londoners with water for over a hundred years.
This unusual venue is available for a wide variety of private and corporate events throughout the year, from small daytime meetings to receptions for 150. The museum is available for hire from 5.30pm to 1am for evening events and 9.30am to 5.30pm for daytime events.
The spectacular Grand Junction 90 Engine House becomes the guest entrance and drinks reception area, where there is an opportunity to have the world's largest working beam engine in operation. Alternatively, on a warm summer's evening why not use the Waterwheel Courtyard for preâ€"dinner drinks or a barbecue.
The Steam Hall plays host to the main event, with dining and dancing, surrounded by our magnificent steam pumping engines working noiselessly in the background.
The museum is a wonderfully flexible venue, with a list of caterers, entertainers and suppliers to choose from, making each event unique. Music and red wine are permitted.
