Probably the finest of the surviving Elizabethan halls, completed in 1570, Middle Temple's historical grandeur and majestic gardens provide a perfect setting for your event.
Middle Temple Hall's rich history lends it an air both formal and festive. Its Hall and private rooms are fitting backdrops for all types of occasion: wedding receptions, luncheons, banquets and concerts as well as meetings and conferences.
The Hall staged the first performance of Shakespeare's 'Twelfth Night' in 1602. It has remained virtually unaltered to the present day, and still serves as a meeting place for new generations of lawyers. Portraits of Queen Elizabeth I (who dined many times in the Hall) and other monarchs hang above the Bench Table, the great 29â€"footâ€"long dining table that was floated down the Thames from Windsor Forest before the Hall was completed.
The friendly and attentive catering team at Middle Temple will help you in planning anything that the occasion requires. Our experienced staff ensure that all the details are looked after properly, so you can relax and know everything will run smoothly when it just has to be special.
