Providing nine widely different and uniquely versatile rooms, the venue offers you the opportunity to embrace British heritage or to develop an individual event character.

Home to historic works of art and the latest captivating collections from modern day conflict, the Museum offers magnificent galleries, modern spaces and functional meeting rooms, making it an ideal venue for all your event needs.

Party Rooms

Your party in the Art Gallery needs little embellishment.  Drink, dine or dance surrounded by the works of artists such as Reynolds and Gainsborough. A modern, clean white space, the Atrium offers a blank canvas upon which you can develop a unique event character. Ideal for receptions and dancing, the Atrium is complemented by an immediate outdoor patio space. Packed with treasures, the Permanent Galleries offer you four floors of the history of Britain, our Army and the world.  These can be booked for receptions, private viewings and launches.

Business Rooms

With full AV, internet and video-conferencing facilities, our five unique business rooms are ideal for events large and small.  Bring a sense of occasion to your conference in the magnificent Art Gallery, or enjoy the intimacy of the modern and spacious Boardroom.

Before you book

The Museum offers a range of additional services to delight your guests. Book an actor-interpreter in the role of soldier from the past to add to your guests’ experience of our exhibition and gallery displays. Tours led by curators will bring the galleries alive with anecdotes and unusual stories, and include the chance to handle objects from the past.
