Launch of UVL Website Proves Success

Traffic to the Unique Venues of London (UVL) website has hit an all time high with over 300,000 pages being viewed on over 20,000 visits since its launch in February this year. In June alone the home page saw 3,935 visits with 1,214 views of the ‘Contact Us’ page generating 175 email enquiries for specific events at one of the 62 member venues.

The new website has been designed to make it easier for buyers to navigate their way through the most select group of magnificent and unusual venues on offer in London. It allows buyers to search venues by capacity making it quicker and easier to find a venue which matches their needs. The venues on offer range from the small and intimate such as Wellington Arch and the Leighton House Museum to the grandest of venues such as Central Hall Westminster and The Royal Opera House.

Other features available on the website include an E newsletter with all the latest news about UVL, details of London’s leading event suppliers including caterers and production companies, and a job section allowing members to give potential applicants the chance to work in some of the capital’s most amazing venues.

Charlotte Reeves Chairman of UVL and Director of Corporate Relations at Somerset House comments;     “We are delighted with the number of visitors to the website since its launch. It is a fantastic site that allows event planners to search our diverse database of the most exclusive and prestigious venues in London. We only hope these figures will continue to grow.”
