UNIQUE VENUES OF LONDON HOLDS NEW EXPO AT ROYAL OPERA HOUSE
Held in conjunction with Visit London, the ‘expo' took place at the Royal Opera House on Thursday 4 June 2009. All guests were invited for breakfast, followed by an opportunity to explore all 69 member venues, including Somerset House, Christ Church Spitalfields, Kew Gardens and the Foundling Museum. Guests also received an exclusive backstage tour of the Royal Opera House before departing at 12.30pm.
Lisa Hatswell, Chairman of UVL and Corporate Sales Manager at the London Eye said of the event: "With such a diversity of venues, the ‘expo' enabled bookers short on time to preview all UVL members in just one morning. We hope that bookers will be inspired by our range of historic and modern venues, which can accommodate events from five to 2,000, and as such are hoping this will become an annual event not to be missed".
In the meantime, watch this space; more information and invitations will be available shortly.
