UVL strengthens its Brand with Addition of New Member

Unique Venues of London (UVL) is pleased to announce that Tate Modern has become one of its newest members.
Charlotte Reeves Chairman of UVL and Director of Corporate Relations at Somerset House, said: "We are delighted that Tate Modern has become a member of UVL, the addition of such a well known and well loved venue will further strengthen the UVL brand and ensure that we can continue to offer event planners the most exclusive and prestigious venues in the capital."
Clare Hubery, Corporate Events Officer at Tate, said: "As the newest member of UVL we are looking forward to a busy and successful 2007. The Tate Modern's recently opened East Room is a dramatic space which has sheer glass walls on three sides giving guests fantastic views across the Thames. Tate Mordern's prime river location means it can truly offer something unique to every event organiser."
UVL is a unison which showcases and celebrates London's diversity and capacity to host all manner of events. Since its launch in 1993, UVL has grown in stature and recognition, expanding its membership base while still maintaining a strict selection process, ensuring the integrity of the organisation. Current membership stands at 62.
The venues on offer range from the small and intimate like Wellington Arch and the Leighton House Museum to the grandest of venues like the Natural History Museum and The Royal Opera House.
UVL will unveil its new website at International Confex (February 20 – 22nd Stand L101). The new website allows buyers to search venues by capacity making it quicker and easier for organisers to find a venue which matches their needs. It also has details of London's leading event suppliers including caterers and production companies.
"We are really excited about revealing our new look website at Confex. We hope organisers will use the website to create exciting and unique events," concluded Reeves.

The organisation was launched to showcase and celebrate London's diverse venue scene, while offering valuable problem sharing and networking opportunities for the industry.
