The V&A is the world’s leading museum of art and design. The V&A’s magnificent South Kensington building is a unique gem of Victorian architecture and an iconic London landmark for hosting memorable private and corporate events. The Dome is one of London’s most elegant and impressive settings with a soaring ceiling, classical architecture, marble columns and Dave Chihuly’s statement glass chandelier. It is perfect for receptions, dinners and late night dancing. The Raphael Court, home to some of the most important surviving examples of Renaissance art in the world and complemented by a gilded Spanish altarpiece, provides a striking backdrop to a variety of events. The Raphael Court is ideal for high impact dinners and awards ceremonies, offering guests a luxury dining experience like no other. The Dorothy and Michael Hintze Sculpture Gallery contains some of the V&A’s most priceless pieces and is a stunning space for drinks or more intimate dinners amongst treasures of the museum collection. The breath-taking Gilbert Bayes Gallery overlooks the spectacular Casts Courts from a mezzanine level, offering guests sweeping views of iconic works of sculpture during private dinners and receptions. The Fashion Gallery takes you through iconic styles through the ages and is a versatile gallery space for intimate dinners or standing receptions. The Paintings Galleries exhibit the work of Constable, Turner and Gainsborough, Blake, Landseer and Millais with a classical gallery aesthetic as a backdrop for wedding ceremonies, dinners and receptions. The John Madejski Garden is an elegant open-air space with a beautiful 19th Century terracotta façade and ellipse pool, perfect for garden parties or Summertime wedding ceremonies against a historic and striking surround.
