Audio System Engineer - Royal Albert Hall

The role
 
The Royal Albert Hall has taken the delivery of all aspects of audio in-house to be managed by the newly formed Audio team. This has enabled the Hall to offer a world class audio system for the world’s most famous stage, provided by a professional team delivering audio services to support the Hall’s artistic vision.
 
The Audio Systems Engineer will be the primary System Technician responsible for the upkeep and implementation of the Hall’s sound systems, with a significant focus on the Main Auditorium. They will be responsible for managing and maintaining all installed audio systems, working as part of the wider Audio team to deliver world class sound to productions and audiences.
 
The person
 
The candidate will have extensive experience working in a live events audio environment and large scale venues, a proven relationship with industry manufacturers and rental companies, as well as a positive reputation among the audio community and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and external stakeholder. The ideal candidate will also have a flexible and adaptable attitude and able to work within a fast-moving work environment.
