Client Relationship Executive, Museum Events - Museum of the Order of St. John

St John’s Gate, dating from 1504, was the main gatehouse to the Priory of the Order of St John, on the edge of the City of London. The Order was founded in the 11th Century to care for sick pilgrims; its modern role supports St John Ambulance, the international first aid charity.  St John’s Gate now houses the Museum of the Order of St John and a series of spectacularly beautiful historic rooms with unique and idiosyncratic histories.  It also owns the Priory Church of the Order of St John with its celebrated Norman crypt and glorious garden.

The Client Relationship Executive will support the Museum Events Manager to develop and deliver the events strategy for the historic rooms at St John’s Gate, ensuring that sales and profit targets are realised.  The postholder will be responsible for demonstrating the highest standards of client care, venue presentation, contractor liaison and after sales service.  They will have experience of driving new events business, establishing effective marketing campaigns, delivering seamless experiences for clients and completing administrative tasks to the highest standards.

All surplus made from the hire of the historic rooms at St John directly supports the work of the Museum and St John Ambulance, which works at the heart of communities, providing first aid, keeping people safe at events and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.  Our employees receive a competitive salary, pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, health and wellbeing portal, access to discounts portal including gym discounts, high street stores and restaurants and access to our confidential assistance programme.

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending upon experience
