Corporate Events Executive

Salary: £22,500 to £24,000 per annum depending on skills and experience 

Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Corporate Events Executive on a full time permanent basis as part of the Commercial Services Department at St Paul’s Cathedral. The role holder will be an essential part of the Corporate Events Team, with an emphasis on maximising income and offering a world class service in keeping with the Cathedral’s ethos and mission. Balancing the core activities of the Cathedral with the vital income events deliver is an extremely rewarding challenge. You will be the first contact for enquiries to the Corporate Events Team, and your passion and knowledge will shine through to ensure we maximise the opportunities our customers bring. Liaising closely with the internal Events Department, you will ensure the most efficient and effective use of the spaces the Cathedral has available, and in building close relationships with our nominated suppliers and contractors, you will deliver outstanding memorable events for all our guests.  

Future strategies being developed will ensure that the income generated for the Cathedral grows year-on-year, with an emphasis on sector recognition for the quality of our customer service and event delivery. Growing our customer base is essential; you will have a strong customer focus with experience of working in the events industry. Building on relationships, including internal stakeholders, is key to the success of the role. Your ability to tailor each event with our Music Department or lighting engineers will ensure your creativity, flair and imagination will shine as you showcase Wren’s masterpiece to the widest possible audience.
