Development Events Manager – Royal College of Music

The Royal College of Music (RCM) is one of the world's greatest conservatoires. Our excellence was recognised by the 2021 QS World University Rankings, in which we ranked as the top institution for performing arts in the UK and Europe.

To cope with growing programme of supporter and fundraising events, The Royal College of Music is seeking to engage a confident and experienced Development Events Manager to hit the ground running on an engaging and bespoke events programme.

This is a dynamic and creative role which, under the leadership of the Head of Events and Venue Hire, will develop and manage the RCM’s cultivation and fundraising events programme to raise £400,000 pa through direct fundraising events and support the wider DAE team’s fundraising targets through a programme of cultivation events.

Excellent event planning, organisational and project management skills are essential as is working with high-net individuals and committees. Knowledge of classical music is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing new creative events and achieving fundraising targets.
