Events Assistant Apprentice - Harrow School

Harrow School Enterprises Limited (HSEL) is the trading company of Harrow School. It is responsible for raising additional funds for the School through commercial activities such as events, filming, tours, weddings, educational courses, residential tenant groups and sports facilities hire, alongside providing services to the School such as the School Shop and operating the Sports Centre. HSEL is also the head office for the Harrow Summer School Short Courses (HSSSC), which operates three English language and activity centres across England. HSSSC is one of the leading providers of summer language courses for international students aged 8-17 years.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and willing team player looking to develop their skills, who thrives on hard work to ensure the success of Harrow School as an events venue. Candidates should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A likeable, outgoing and energetic personality
  • Ability to deal confidently with all event enquiries 
  • Excellent administrative skills, coupled with an excellent telephone manner

18 Month fixed term contract for the period of the Apprenticeship Agreement, 6 month probation. Staff benefits include a free lunch, automatic enrolment into the Schools designated defined contribution pension plan and the opportunity to join the Harrow Sports Club.
