Events Sales Co-ordinator - 12-month FTC - Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

We currently have an opportunity within our Events and Venue Hire Team for an Events Sales Co-ordinator to support the sales of private and corporate events at Kew Gardens.

The events range from weddings to corporate dinners, conferences to birthday parties.

The role will sit across both the sales and operations team but mainly involve responding to initial enquiries and conducting show-rounds of venues delivering an excellent standard of customer service. Ensuring high standards of quality are maintained in all aspects of the sales process, as well as consistently meeting deadlines and sales targets. As well as supporting the operations team to deliver some of our weddings and events along with some ad hoc duties for the team.

Previous experience of an event sales environment is essential for this role, as well as having exceptional attention to detail and great organisational skills. Excellent communication skills and customer service experience is a must. Some experience in delivering events is desirable.

We are looking for someone with a keen interest in the events industry, who is enthusiastic, has a lot of initiative and likes to get ‘stuck-in’, enjoys working in a team and has a great eye for detail.

You will be required to work weekends on a regular basis. This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.

The salary will be £24,612 per annum (pro rata).
