Venuelab are actively recruiting for additional freelance Event / Venue Managers to support their Venue Operations teams at their venues and to build up our database of London based freelancers. They are currently actively planning and operating events but may require additional support for busy Autumn to help on the ground with delivery.

Job Purpose
To be part of the venues’ Events Team and successfully deliver the operations of the corporate, brand events, and film shoots mainly at Printworks London, Magazine London and Landing Forty Two alongside the onsite Venue Operations teams.
Onsite supplier and stakeholder management
Deliver the highest level of customer service
Be the main onsite contact to manage the running of corporate, brand and filming events.
Venue problem solving and troubleshooting
Following and enforcing venue specific rules and licensing conditions
Produce a post-event report and schedule de-briefs for the internal team
Experience required
Minimum of 2 years of event operations experience, ideally in a large scale events venue
Ability to keep calm, work under pressure and problem solve quickly
Exceptional organizational and planning skills
Confidence in briefing contractors and suppliers
Knowledge of industry legislations, general event licensing and documentation required pre event
Ideally an understanding of production and AV
Demonstrate a flexible approach and attitude
