Production and Technical Administrator - Royal Albert Hall

Hosting 390 events a year in the main auditorium and more than 800 in other smaller spaces, the Royal Albert Hall stands true to its original purpose of promoting the Arts and Sciences. As a charity, the Hall is dedicated to maintaining the Grade I listed building and giving access to all.

The role

The Production and Technical department is integral to the success of the Hall and is responsible for the preparation, set-up, and operational requirements of every event across the Hall. The Production and Technical Administrator role is essential to the department’s success, providing effective administrative support to the Head of Production and Technical and the rest of the team.

Responsibilities will include being the first point of contact for internal and external queries for the department, minuting meetings, processing weekly payroll, managing department information on the Hall databases and assisting with technical and event management tasks as required.

The person

The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience with excellent IT skills, you should be highly organised and have exceptional interpersonal skills. You should be able to prioritise and plan your work effectively, have excellent attention to detail and be highly motivated with a proactive and adaptable approach.
