(For Stationers’ Hall and St Martin within Ludgate church)
Reporting to: Commercial Manager and Finance & Business Director
Based at: Stationers’ Hall, Ave Maria Lane, London, EC4M 7DD
Position: Permanent
Salary range: £25k to £29k depending on experience
Job purpose:
To assist the Commercial Manager in selling and co-ordinating commercial events at both Stationers’ Hall and St Martin within Ludgate church. Also to provide marketing support to Member Services of the Company.
Key role objectives:
- Responding in a timely manner to sales enquiries
- Carry out client show rounds / site visits
- Assist in co-ordination of events
- Assist in keeping databases, spreadsheets and sales reporting
- Assisting with contracts, invoicing and filing
- Report on marketing effectiveness (for example website listings & Google analytics)
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and pricing
- To assist the Commercial Manager with marketing activities where required
- Provide website and social media support
- Support Member Services in e-shots, event mailings and bulk mailouts
- Booking and co-ordinating tours of the Hall and SMWL church
- To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Commercial Manager and the Stationers’ Company
Key attributes and skills:
- IT skills (word, excel) and experience with a CRM system would be desirable
- Some design skills would be desirable (for example InDesign) but not essential as training can be provided
- Good administration skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Social media knowledge
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
