Reporting to: Venues General Manager
Salary: £42,432
Hackney Venues is a portfolio of currently three stunning venues within the London Borough of Hackney. This is a really exciting time for Hackney Venues as we are entering our 10 year anniversary along with another venue being added to the portfolio in 2020.
As a senior manager within the department, the Sales & Marketing Manager would take the lead on the future strategy of Hackney Venues, its growth, image and income generation. Reporting directly into the General Manager and working alongside the Venues & Events Manager, a key part of the role will be to integrate yourself within the core events team and to take a hands approach when necessary.
The successful candidate will have passion and drive to take on this new chapter and is able to develop the current income streams and find new opportunities both internal and external.
Ideally the candidate will have experience in venue sales & marketing as well event management within the hospitality industry. Local government experience would be desired but not essential.
The candidate will have exceptional communication skills to develop strong client relationships and form alliances with local businesses as well as internal and external clients.
