The role
Our vision is to inspire artists and audiences worldwide with the magic of the iconic Royal Albert Hall, creating life-enriching, unforgettable experiences for everyone. As a Security Officer, you will assist and support the Senior Security Manager and Security Supervisor in providing a welcoming, secure and safe environment for all our staff, contractors, artists and visitors, including key responsibilities during an emergency.
The person
A key part of this role will be the ability to absorb and react to information, situations and alarms very quickly and to recall procedural, building and event knowledge accurately and efficiently. You will need to be able to assess situations quickly and take appropriate and calm action to provide safe and managed outcomes.
You will be comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment and enjoy being active. You will have a proactive approach to health & safety and security, with a real passion and commitment to providing excellent customer service to a wide variety of people and roles. You will also be customer focused with immaculate standards of personal presentation and willing to uphold the Hall’s Vision and Values.
