As Event Manager you will play a pivotal role in selling and delivering a compelling range of events and film and photography opportunities across several sites.

Events include conferences, meetings, product launches, networking receptions, seated dinners, Christmas parties and commercial filming.

The post holder will work in the venue hire team, reporting to and assisting the Head of Events, to promote and grow the venue hire business, ensuring that sales targets are met and high levels of service delivered to customers and stakeholders from point of contact through to delivery and evaluation.

Key Accountabilities

• Deliver events to the highest standards while coordinating suppliers and stakeholders with effective communication to the client from contact to delivery.
• Convert reactive enquiries to hit the team's competitive sales targets
• Assist the Head of Events in the distribution of effective proactive marketing and sales material to promote venue and filming and photography sales at the Museum.
• Assist the Head of Events in representing the Museum at industry forums, trade exhibitions and to key partners. Ensure the consistent application of the Museum brand and its values across your work
