The British Academy welcomes three new faces to the Business Development and Hospitality department with the appointment of Catherine Owen as Head of Venue Sales & Marketing, Amie Murphy as Venue Business Development and Marketing Manager and Tinique Hay as Venue Sales Coordinator.
Catherine has taken the Head role have previously worked at Royal Museums Greenwich, a collection of five historic venues in South East London including the Cutty Sark. Prior to that, Catherine gained experience across numerous unique London venues including the Royal Institution, British Museum and Syon House. Amie Murphy also joins from Royal Museums Greenwich and Tinique Hay is formerly of the Royal Foundation of St Katherine in Limehouse.
These three new appointments join an already well-established, successful events team responsible for over 300 events a year, worth over £2 million in gross income.
Catherine Owen, Head of Venue Sales and Marketing says: “ I am so excited to join the {10-11} team. It I such a beautiful building and the British Academy is such an important organisation I am excited to see what the new and established members of the team can bring to 2019.”
{10-11} Carlton House Terrace, designed by renowned architect John Nash and built in the late 1820’s, comprises 11 versatile rooms available for private hire. With capacity up to 500 guests, these two terraced Townhouses have the perfect central London location with desirable views over St James’s Park and The Mall.
Available for daytime and evening hire both during the week and at weekends, {10-11} Carlton House Terrace is an unrivalled setting for meetings, private dining, receptions and product launches.
The venue is also licensed for Civil Wedding ceremonies, with the ability to take over the entire residence for a day of celebration.
