30 Euston Square raises over £1,400 through charity climb

October 2025

30 Euston Square’s team has successfully scaled Scafell Pike, England’s highest peak, to raise funds for Save the Children. The team had been working hard in the weeks leading up to the climb on Saturday 27 September, to raise awareness for their challenge. The team’s original goal was to raise £500, and their outstanding achievement has resulted in £1,475 being donated towards life-changing support for children in need.

Led by their expert guide, Tim, the team decided to match their supporters’ passion and summited Scafell Pike as well as Scafell, Lord’s Rake, Fox’s Gulley and Mickledore. The nine hour route had them experience gale force winds and walking through thick fog, but despite the long route and the difficulty, the team persevered.

The group included Salem, CJ, Angela, Manuela, Lori, Amy, Juliana, Bryoney and Simon from 30 Euston Square as well as some friends who joined in.

Salem Retibi, Venue Director at 30 Euston Square, comments: “We are always looking for ways that we can support our nominated charities, but this was by far one of the toughest challenges we’ve taken on. Knowing we were doing it for such an important cause is what kept us going. It was a fantastic exercise in team bonding, and I’m so proud to have seen the team encouraging one another to keep going, and we hope our climb inspires others to support Save the Children in whatever way they can.”
