Access the biggest revolution in sound with DeltaLive

Thursday, May 2, 2019 - 17:30

For those who want to add an extra auditory dimension to their events, DeltaLive provides L-ISA (Immersive Sound Art) from L-Acoustics for any gathering.

This revolutionary technology seeks to redress stereo’s inherent problems and elevate the audience listening experience, giving them a closer and more intimate connection with the artist.

At the heart of the L‑ISA technology lies the conviction that music is a multidimensional art form that can be captured and reproduced in a way that authentically preserves all the subtleties and dynamics of outstanding performances. The listener can hear exactly what the artist intended while perceiving the acoustic landscape in a musical arrangement that teems with detail. It breathes, it pulsates, it lives, giving the musical creation an unforgettable signature and enveloping the listener in the music, the moment, and the emotion.

By using an L-Acoustics L-ISA processor and intelligent system design, any venue PA system can be uprated to L-ISA, giving the audience a whole new, immersive sound experience. The goal is that the entire audience hear their favourite band, orchestra or performer with the dimension, depth and clarity that can’t be found with the designs of the past. Or to put it another way, would be found if they were playing in a really intimate venue.

Paul Keating, MD of DeltaLive commented, “L-ISA is, quite simply, the biggest and most important audio revolution in the past fifty years”.

L-ISA created an outstanding, immersive, impact when it was used, to award-winning effect, at the 2018 BBC Proms (and will be used by DeltaLive again this year at the Royal Albert Hall). The L-ISA system enabled every audience member to enjoy the clarity and immersion offered by the design.

French avant-garde artist, Philippe Parreno also selected L-ISA for his Anywhen installation in the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern, transforming the space into an immersive experience that challenged time and space perceptions. The exhibition changed throughout the day and evolved over the six-month period of the commission.

In the run up to the last Wonderfruit Festival in Thailand, DeltaLive’s L-ISA programming space played host to a variety of artists and DJs so that they could understand the potential of the technology and subsequently expand their repertoire with the new creative L-ISA tools afforded to them.
