Located in the heart of Middle Temple, one of the four ancient Inns of Court, The Queen’s Room is the smaller and most graceful of this historic building’s Bench Apartments.
This charming and elegant space was named after HRH the Queen Mother, ‘The Royal Bencher’ who is said to have had the greatest influence on the Inn. It is decorated with impressive paintings of her appointment on 12th December 1944, which coincided with a fierce bombing attack on London.
Today, guests can have the very same experience that the Queen Mother enjoyed here for over half a century.
Affording sweeping views of the beautiful gardens, with their immaculately maintained lawns, exquisitely manicured borders and award-winning blooms, the room’s large windows and high ceilings make for a light and airy ambience.
Its intimate nature makes it the perfect setting for a private dinner party for up to 22 guests, or a reception for up to 60 guests. The Queen’s Room is also licensed for wedding ceremonies and provides a stunning backdrop for smaller parties.
The room is also easily accessible from Middle Temple’s spectacular Elizabethan Hall, making it well positioned for use as a break-out room for a larger scale event.
