The Reading room at Wellcome Collection in Central London, is one of our most beautiful event spaces due to its spectacular décor and the opportunity to interact with objects in the space. The room can host up to 100 people standing with 1m social distancing (standard capacity is up to 160 people) and is fully accessible.
Host your next drinks reception, product launch or networking event at the Reading room and you will be surrounded by art, historic objects and views of the magnificent Wellcome Library. The wide range of objects featured here should fascinate and inspire your guests. From a life mask of Beethoven to a 1920s X-ray machine made of wood, steel and rubber and a dress illustrating neural development are just a few of the surprises people can experience.
Wellcome Collection in-house catering partners offer seasonal and bespoke canapés and drinks that are memorable for all the right reasons. Using locally sourced ingredients when possible, we closely monitor food waste to offer solutions and suggestions to clients - our chefs are extremely flexible in their approach to creating menu’s which help tackle food waste.
