Syon Park Restaurant in partnership with Blue Strawberry and in association with Elle Decoration is the jewel in the foodie crown for Decorex; offering visitors and exhibitors a luxurious culinary experience whilst they take a break from the hustle and bustle of the exhibition spaces. The space will feature exquisite wall décor from prominent interior design luminaries Blackpop, Officine Gullo and Dedar, in conjunction with Elle Decoration.
Having wowed the crowds with their sold-out pop-up last year, Blue Strawberry were delighted to be invited back for this year’s hotly anticipated show. With decades of experience working within many of the UK’s most prestigious venues, the Blue Strawberry team is highly adept at creating unmissable experiences for their discerning clientele.
Boasting many years of Michelin Star training and restaurant experience, Blue Strawberry’s highly skilled and imaginative chefs undertake extensive research and development to ensure that their world-class menus are authentic, inventive and absolutely full of flavour. They incorporate upcoming trends, innovative ingredients and ground-breaking cooking techniques, using seasonal and locally sourced produce. The result is beautiful food that is a feast for the eyes as well as the senses.
The show menu includes highlights such as Smoked duck breast with charred and pickled pineapple, chorizo jam and manchego, Fillet of bream, charred broccoli purée and sour cream dressing, 16hr pressed short-rib of beef, mojo rojo sauce, pickled onions and charred greens and Baked aubergine stuffed with spelt and halloumi, tahini sauce and pomegranate (v).
Those with a sweet tooth can opt for Calamansi lime tart, crunchy meringue and crème fraîche or Salted chocolate cremeux, olive oil shortbread and brown sugar croquant. Additionally the pop-up and its bar will be open during the afternoon for coffee and a range of artisan cakes and patisserie delights.
Due to popular demand from last year’s pop-up, a key focal point throughout the day will be the restaurant’s lively Gin Bar, stocked with a range of London dry, distilled and botanical gins such as Williams Elegant 48, Opihr Oriental Spiced, Chase GB, Tanqueray, Hendricks, Bombay Sapphire and alcohol-free Seedlip gins. Visitors will be able to personalise their drinks with a number of Fever Tree tonics, bitters and garnishes such as citrus, juniper berries, olives, basil, and sprigs of rosemary, thyme or lavender.
