Blue Strawberry Group achieves Planet Mark Business re-certification

November 2024

Blue Strawberry Group has progressed further on its sustainability journey, achieving Planet Mark Business Certification for the second consecutive year. As a widely trusted independent assurance, this demonstrates the company’s concerted efforts to measure and reduce its carbon emissions.

Blue Strawberry Group first achieved carbon-positive status and Planet Mark certification in 2022. Through its commitment to continuous improvement, the re-certification was awarded based on a quantifiable reduction in measured Scope 1 and 2 emissions (market-based). This equated to a 30.5% absolute reduction and a 14.9% per employee reduction in market-based year-on-year.

Emission Achievement breakdown for last reporting year:

  • Building emissions have decreased by 28.6%
  • Business Travel emissions have decreased by 36.3%
  • Fleet travel emissions have decreased by 43.5%
  • Waste emissions have decreased by 2.2%
  • Water emissions have decreased by 83.9%

Stuart Jenkins, Director of Blue Strawberry says: “We’re very proud to have been awarded this prestigious sustainability accreditation for a second year. The tangible reductions we’ve made highlight our commitment to environmental stewardship.  Combined with our other initiatives, such as offering clients carbon offsetting for their events, in partnership with Terra Neutra’s Eco Act, we remain resolutely dedicated to minimising our impact on the planet.”
