Affirming its place at the pinnacle of innovative gastronomy for the events industry, Bubble has just announced the appointment of its new executive head chef, Jens Nisson.
Jens has 20 years of experience in the catering industry, with a career spanning some of the best events, most prestigious venues and celebrated restaurants in the UK and abroad. Having trained in London restaurants under Michelin starred chefs Marco Pierre White, Phillip Howard and John Christophe Novelli, Jens then went on to work in some of the most prominent restaurants in Australia. On his return to London he moved into the events sector and worked as executive chef for the Royal Opera House and for D&D London and gained a wealth of expertise as head chef for Alison Price and Company.
Building upon some of the culinary traditions of his Danish heritage, an influence which is enjoying much popularity on the gastronomy scene, Jens utilises an intelligent approach to cooking and sourcing the very best of natural ingredients. He is passionate about research and experimentation, employing cutting edge techniques combined with traditional methods such foraging and brewing.
“I am thrilled to be heading up such an innovative and dynamic team of chefs at Bubble.” commented Jens, “Over the last few years in particular, the company has become renowned for its modern and creative menus. I’m very much looking forward to bringing a few of my key inspirations and passions into the mix which will fit perfectly with the striking Bubble brand.”
MD, Michael Collins, remarked, “This is such an exciting development for the company. Building upon the last year, which has been particularly full of achievements for Bubble and our team, it was imperative to find the very best candidate in terms of talent, expertise, strong events experience and a driving passion for creating the most spectacular results. I’m delighted to welcome Jens to our amazing team and I’m eager to work with him to implement his impressive plans to further develop Bubble’s range of stunning menus.“
