Bubble Food

Caterers Bubble Food are delighted to announce their new tap water initiative as one of a number of new Corporate & Social Responsibility activities.

Given that Thames water is ranked top for water quality in England and Wales, Bubble have begun to actively encourage its clients to opt for tap water for their events (as permitted by the venue), and will provide garnishes such as cucumber and citrus completely free of charge.

For every jug of tap water served, Bubble will donate £1 to the charity Water Aid. Should the client still wish to order bottled water, Bubble will provide glass bottles of Belu Water (which is ethically produced by a not-for-profit social enterprise where all profits go to Water Aid).

Appalled by the needless and wasteful transportation of high volumes of bottled water across the country, Bubble’s Head of Events, Mark Watts, decided that there was a better way to do business, “Not only is it great for the company to reduce our environmental impact – particularly when you think of the hundreds of thousands of plastic bottles that go into landfill each year – but it also enables our clients to enjoy events that are more environmentally responsible.”
