Southbank Centre includes the Royal Festival Hall, Haywood Gallery, and Queen Elizabeth Hall and is located at the heart of the vibrant arts quarter which also features the National Theatre, BFI Southbank, Tate Modern, Somerset House and Shakespeare's Globe.
With its riverside setting, central location, and impressive cultural history, Royal Festival Hall is a venue for all occasions. Created in 1951 for the Festival of Britain, Royal Festival Hall draws on its heritage as a festival site, with performances and activities taking place throughout the year. In 2007 the Hall reopened following a 2 year refurbishment project, which brought the building up to modern standards of access, technological excellence and comfort while retaining the iconic 1950s aesthetics of the original design.
From the grandeur of the Royal Festival Hall auditorium to the airy feel and incredible views of the Weston and St Pauls Roof Pavilions, through to the intimate surroundings of the Sunley Pavilion and the various meeting and function rooms, Southbank Centre offers a wide variety of stylish spaces.
“We are so thrilled to be working at Southbank Centre in future. It is a great brand fit for Bubble with its reputation for pushing boundaries and championing creativity.” remarked Bubble MD, Michael Collins, “Royal Festival Hall provides such a fantastic cultural backdrop with its events spaces which are quite unique with their modern twist on 50s design and great views of the Thames. Perfect for dinners, parties, awards ceremonies, conferencing, meetings and weddings, Royal Festival Hall has a space for any event.”
