Thursday, August 3, 2017 - 15:30
Bubble Food is thrilled to announce that it has been added to the list of accredited suppliers at Westminster Abbey.
‘We are delighted to add Bubble to our nominated supplier list and look forward to working with them on many exceptional events’. Lorraine Rossdale, Head of Event Management and Marketing.
A much loved Unesco World Heritage Site, Westminster Abbey has hosted an incredible range of events for over a thousand years. It has been home to the coronation of many kings and queens, and provided a breath-taking backdrop for weddings, christenings and proclamations.
A truly unique offering - event planners can choose to incorporate an exclusive private guided tour of the Abbey for guests whereby they can marvel at the Abbey’s rich history and fascinating artefacts.
Parliament met in the breath-taking Chapter House before transferring to the Palace of Westminster. This welcoming space boasts a medieval tiled floor, circular shape and colourful stained windows. Additionally, the vestibule houses the oldest door in Britain, dating back to the 1050s. During warmer months, the 14th century Cloisters provide a sumptuous setting with spectacular views across the Garth.
Dating back to the 14th century, the Cellarium was used by the monks to store their food and drink. Today, guests may enjoy a taste of Benedictine hospitality in this medieval undercroft. With its stunning vaulted ceiling and warm ambiance, the Cellarium is the perfect evening venue. The stunning contemporary aesthetic of the Cellarium Terrace, situated within this magnificent historic building showcases an inspiring blend of past and present architecture. The Terrace provides fantastic views of the Abbey's West Towers and access to an exclusive outside area.
Offering glorious views of the Abbey and the Victoria Tower, part of the Palace of Westminster, College Garden is an idyllic space for a reception, dinner, lunch or daytime business conference. At around 900 years old, the beautiful garden is believed to be the longest continually cultivated garden in England. During June and July a stylish marquee with a decked porch area, and glass front and sides, is set up in the garden. Outside of this time, a marquee can be arranged to accommodate a wide range of events.
Situated over the entrance to the Cloisters of Westminster Abbey, Cheyneygates is an enchanting space.  This historic chamber provides the perfect setting for a breakfast meeting, business lunch, evening reception or dinner.
"We are exceptionally proud to have been added to the list of suppliers at Westminster Abbey." commented Bubble’s Managing Director, Michael Collins, "The iconic Abbey is steeped in history and provides a jaw-dropping backdrop for sublime events. We were extremely privileged to work with a long standing client on a high profile film premiere after-party at Westminster Abbey last year. It gave us an amazing insight into this unparalleled venue and a strong desire to create many more memorable events at the Abbey in the future."
