Crowd-sourced content and Corbin Ball keynote confirmed for Meet The Future at Central Hall Westminster
Central Hall Westminster today confirms further content for the event technology conference ‘Meet The Future’, taking place at the venue on 9th June 2015.
In addition to keynote presentations and practical demonstrations, the day-long event will include interactive workshops, with the content being determined by crowd-sourcing. Delegates are being asked in the registration process to choose the topics they would most like to see covered in breakout sessions, with the most popular choices forming the basis of the agenda. The leading topics are currently audience engagement, location-based technology (iBeacons, NFC and RFID) and big data.
Also confirmed today is meeting technology speaker, writer and specialist Corbin Ball, who will deliver the final keynote session of the day, delving in to his 20 years of experience in the event technology industry and exploring the pace of change expected in the next five years. Corbin’s session will follow the two earlier keynotes announced this month, from Neuroscientist Dr Beau Lotto and BBC technology journalist Kate Russell.
Corbin Ball comments: “I am very much looking forward to participating in this year’s Meet the Future conference. The quality of the speakers looks to be excellent, the interactive events technology focus is cutting-edge, and the level of experience focus is great!”
Maria Schuett, Head of Marketing at Central Hall and Meet The Future conference producer, adds: “Our 2014 event was such a huge success, many felt it would be hard to follow. This year, however, we’re not only giving busy event buyers the chance to experience flash new tech as delegates, but taking the concept a step further and looking at how tech helps us to create better programmes and levels of engagement for organisers. Having Corbin involved is hugely exciting and we’ve got more than a few surprises up our sleeves for the day, so watch this space!”
