2025 was a time of big change at Chiswick House & Gardens: they opened their Artist Studios back in the summer, with the 19 new studios now providing much-needed affordable workspaces for local artists. Created from disused sheds, stables and outbuildings in their ‘back of house areas’, the studios are now fully occupied by an inspiring community of artists and makers, from painters and mural artists to jewellers and industrial designers. 

They've held two Open Studio Days so far (the most recent one on 6 December), welcoming local families in to meet the artists and explore their work – and it’s been exciting to see just how much a part of the Chiswick House & Gardens community the studios now feel. They’re planning many more fun, free, family-friendly days like this for 2026.

2026 will also see their ongoing redevelopment programme continue with the opening of an exciting new Learning Hub: a centre that will allow them to dramatically expand their growing schools programme and vital community work, and provide them with another fantastic venue available for hire.

Work on the full hub started in November 2025 and, with the help of our generous supporters, they’re hoping to see the Learning Hub complete by June 2026. Watch this space…
