A Night at the Museum of London
We think we have seen it all as far as event formats go, but the recent #SherlockIn overnight event at the Museum of London was certainly something brilliantly different. The event was in honour of the Museum's Sherlock Holmes exhibition and invited 150 Sherlock enthusiasts to a special 'sleepover' at the Museum - the ultimate private viewing of the hit exhibition.
Guests were treated to viewings of Sherlock films and TV clips, eery ghost stories and memorably, a peek at Sherlock creator Sir Authur Conan Doyle's notebook featuring the first ever lines of a Sherlock Holmes story.
Create's task was to make sure guests were well fed throughout their stay; delivering a special three course dinner, themed cocktails, and the following morning, an irresistible and well-earned breakfast. A lucky number of VIP guests were treated to a private seated breakfast in front of the Museum's famous and beautifully ornate Selfridges department store lift.
ON THE DINNER MENU
scottish smoked salmon
with asparagus and rocket salad, hollandaise dressing
pan fried guinea fowl
on a bubble and squeak cake, sautéed sugar snap peas with shallots and a tarragon cream sauce
with passion fruit coulis and hazelnut honeycomb#
Create would be delighted to discuss holding your event at the Museum with a private viewing of the exhibition. The 'Man Who Never Lived and Will Never Die' exhibition is open until 12th April 2015 - so make sure you don't miss out!
