Cutty Sark

Thursday, February 23, 2017 - 09:00

Cutty Sark has hosted over 200 events since it reopened in 2012 following an incredible multi million pound refurbishment. It saw the ship raised over 3 meters to preserve the unique shape of it hull and thereby making it the only space in the world you can entertain under the hull of a ship.

Having received its wedding licence in the summer of 2015, a number of beautiful celebrations have taken place including a New Year’s wedding ceremony and international themed wedding reception. 2017 has seen the ship grow in popularity as a unique and daring wedding location with the iconic landmark set to host an inspiring wedding in April on marathon morning after which the couple will disembark and run the marathon while their family cheer them on from the top deck of the ship.

Recent landmark corporate events include a celebratory display of mast manning for the christening of Viking Sea, the largest ship ever launched in London and most recently the Official Launch of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals where Scottish born Andy Murray was presented with a trophy for his World Number 1 ranking.
