the Design Museum now licensed for marriages and civil partnerships

Thursday, July 15, 2021 - 14:00

As weddings and celebrations finally spring back to life, the Design Museum are delighted to announce that it is now licensed for marriages and civil partnerships.

The museum, situated in a landmark grade II listed building in the heart of Holland Park, Kensington, now offers five unique spaces for a limited number of marriages, civil partnerships, and wedding celebrations each year.

Couples can share their vows in one of the galleries or private rooms overlooking Holland Park, enjoy early evening drinks outside on the Plaza or in front of mirrored walls in the Chumsri & Luqman Lounge, and dance the night away in the atrium under the museum's original hyperbolic paraboloid roof.

With so many spaces to choose from, whether it’s an intimate ceremony with close friends and family or a big party for 700 guests, there’s something for everyone!

Please contact the Design Museum's experienced and dedicated events team to find out more.  They will guide you through space options, approved suppliers and next steps. In the meantime, you can view their wedding brochure here.
