Did you know? The historic Coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey was broadcasted from Central Hall Westminster

Thursday, May 9, 2024 - 16:00

One year ago, Central Hall Westminster transformed the venue into a media centre for global broadcast coverage of this momentous event.

As the world tuned in, broadcasters including CBS, NBC News, ABC News and News UK, converged at Central Hall to capture the special event from unique roof spaces, balconies and their dome.

A huge operation which included an overnight setup, where a crane maneuvered equipment on top of the venue, ensuring unparalleled views of the Coronation processions.

A big achievement for all involved, including Central Hall Westminster's facilities, events and sales teams and their service partners White Light, Green & Fortune, SBS and Atlas for their collaborative efforts behind the scene, they made it all possible!
