In need of a good giggle? Battersea Arts Centre are in the midst of their comedy season. Comedians: James Acaster, Sophie Duker, Isy Suttie and many more are trialling their work.

Isy Suttie
16 June, 4 & 11 July

Or fancy something theatrical? “Grin” a “performance of sound, visuals and choreography which subverts hyper-sexualised notions of African and Caribbean dance” opens on the 18th May.

Grin 18-27 May

Grin Digital 30 May – 5 June

Looking to lose yourself in the music? In the not-so-distant future, BBC’s Proms will be taking to the stage in Battersea. “Pianist Leif Ove Andsnes will be performing with the musicians of the Mahler Chamber… they turn to Mozart and in this lunchtime recital at Battersea Arts Centre they pare it down to basics – Andsnes, three MCO players and some of the loveliest chamber music ever created: the Piano Trio KV 502 and the warm-hearted Piano Quartet KV 493.”

Proms at Battersea 8 August

Behind the curtain, Battersea Arts Centre is proud to house both the intimate and the extravagant when it comes to events. Over the next month their atmospheric and brilliantly versatile Grand Hall Suite will be home to a fantastic range of both private and corporate celebrations and occasions.
