First Light Showcase at Cutty Sark, Royal Museums Greenwich

Tying in with The Royal Observatory 350th anniversary, next year will see the launch of the First Light project, an incredible 3 years-long refurbishment plan of the Royal Observatory and The Peter Harrison Planetarium. First Light will be a once-in-a-generation project which will transform one of the most iconic buildings in the world into an accessible, inclusive and sustainable space built for the future. With First Light, Royal Museums Greenwich have the chance to unlock the full potential of this important scientific and historic site, inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, leaders, artists, and thinkers.

The First Light project will also see the birth of new immersive and innovative galleries which will open some incredible new venue hire opportunities for product launches & experiential events and brand activations.

To raise awareness on this important project and introduce the new incredible venue hire opportunities the team at Royal Museums Greenwich are planning a showcase event for agents & event bookers at Cutty Sark on the evening of Thursday 17th October 2024.

This event is a first-time collaboration project between the commercial hire and corporate partnerships teams and will be promoting how they do product launches & experiential events, brand activations and introduce you to their long-term corporate partnerships/sponsorships program.

You can expect an immersive sensorial experience, exclusive tours of Cutty Sark’s decks over an exquisite selection of canapes & cocktails. Proudly designed in partnership with their trusted partners Light Motif Productions & Moving venue Catering.
