Inspired by ITV’s Vanity Fair pleasure gardens, caterer Fizz swung into action recently to create its very own corner of guilty pleasure in the Museum of the Order of St. John’s atmospheric Clerkenwell church.
The aim for Fizz was to create a magical indoor garden filled with pleasurable experiences with the intention of delighting London’s legal elite at a networking evening that also supported a nominated charity.
Fizz designed creative concepts and triumphantly co-ordinated implementation of them; the indoor pleasure setting with stunning flower displays lead seamlessly to the outdoor space. The cloistered garden was adorned with festoon lights, and cosy blankets were laid on benches for when the night became cooler.
Guests were welcomed with Pimms topped with champagne to toast the last vestiges of summer and then enjoyed artisan gins, softs and fine wines. To reflect the very British garden theme, Fizz created a very British menu from its popular classic menu range. Fizz chefs provided bite-size canapés that included Inverawe salmon, lime & keta crostinis, sundried tomato mousse & pesto tartlets, and mini fish & chips cones with mushy peas served on flower filled trays, slates and smoked glass platters. The fabulous catering also included gorgeous vintage cupcakes that were themed to reflect the flowers around the room. Guests remarked that these tasted as good as they looked and some were even taken home!
Guests had a wonderful evening in the memorable setting created by Fizz – the gin and cheese tasting went down a treat too! Fizz will be offering a complimentary Gin tasting with all Christmas Drinks packages at our various Unique venues this season!
