Wedding held in Harrow School’s new event space, The Shepherd Churchill Hall
Uniquely Harrow School and Exclusively Yours…
On 13 December 2014, the Shepherd Churchill Hall at Harrow School was transformed into a perfect wedding venue for 180 guests.
During term time, the Hall is the central dining room for all 830 Harrow boys and members of staff. The wedding set-up began shortly after the end of term celebrations, and involved the clearing of bays-upon-bays of seating and the laying of event carpet over the tiled floor. Once this was in place, Harrow’s suppliers White Light and Blue Strawberry worked their magic to bring the client’s vision to life.
Guests enjoyed a standing drinks reception with seasonal canapés upstairs in the Shepherd Churchill Room, along with breath-taking views of London, while the bride and groom had photos taken in the School’s 300 acre estate. The wedding breakfast was then held downstairs in the Shepherd Churchill Hall, which offers three spacious bays for round dining tables, plentiful space for a dance floor and panoramic views of the capital.
The Shepherd Churchill Hall currently has availability for Christmas Events and Weddings from the Saturday 12th December 2015– Saturday 9th January 2016. With capacities ranging from 120 to 250, the blank canvas space can allow for any colour scheme and style.
