As the venues gear up for a busy season of weddings after the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions, HRP has expanded its list of event partners to include more specialist suppliers. The charity’s ambition is to ensure that their venues are welcoming and inclusive to more prospective couples than ever before.

The new approved supplier list includes specialist Asian caterers, Jewish caterers, Asian theming and décor, and entertainment. Suppliers were selected following a two-month tender process, as well as using invaluable feedback from prospective clients wanting to work with specialist suppliers.

To launch the new dedicated approved supplier list, Historic Royal Palaces has commissioned a series of spectacular photoshoots focussing on Asian weddings and demonstrating the breadth and skill of the new event partners. A second shoot, profiling Jewish celebrations and events, will be released later in the year. The Kosher caterers included on the approved supplier list include Tony Page and Ben Tenenblat, with Asian caterers including Green Leaf, Laguna Event Catering, Preeti Catering and Ragasaan.

Liz Young, Head of Events at Historic Royal Palaces, commented: ‘
“Our palaces are spectacular venues and we want to be able to ensure they are welcoming and inclusive for all couples. That’s why we’re thrilled to launch our new dedicated list of specialist suppliers and are really excited to work closely with them to welcome Asian and Jewish weddings and events to the palaces.
The traditions that come with Asian celebrations, and Jewish weddings and events, combined with the backdrop of the palaces will make for some spectacular occasions. After a challenging year, we can’t wait to welcome even more guests to enjoy their special day with us in one of our beautiful historical settings.”
