Food Show Events Ltd, a leading London event caterer is pleased to announce the promotion of Jay Burgesson-Carter to Managing Director. Jay has been acting MD for several months and brings over a decade of experience and expertise from the events and hospitality industry; and since 2017 has been a huge asset to the team at Food Show. Starting as Commercial Director, Jay’s promotion comes at the end of a two-year transitional period with Founder Andrew Gosling moving into the new role of CEO and Chairman.
Food Show was founded in 1987, has extensive expertise in creating spectacular food and inspired events and is managed by a dedicated team who provide an exceptional, professional service to our clients with attention to the smallest detail. Andrew Gosling founder and owner commented ‘We have faced a very challenging 7 months due to the COVID pandemic and undoubtedly the next few months will remain this way. Jay’s commitment to the business has been exceptional during this time, he has shown dedication and passion, supporting clients and staff whilst driving the business to create new revenue streams and create innovative initiatives.

Food Show’s business has been heavily impacted by COVID 19 and the restrictions imposed for business events, weddings and social gatherings. Our passionate team has been working hard with some fantastic initiatives to deliver our spectacular and inspiring food to our clients virtually and at home, which we look forward to sharing soon. As a business it was felt that it was important to share such a positive news story as we stand in solidarity with our colleagues across the hospitality industry during these extremely difficult times.
