Jimmy Garcia is thrilled to announce that he will be behind the menu at the fantastic Somerset House Terrace Bar with San Miguel this Spring and Summer.

Jimmy has tapped into his family roots and is bringing the flavours of the Mediterranean (with a heavy Spanish influence) to create a tapas menu that will be perfect for summer get-togethers on the riverside terrace at Somerset House.  

With local sourcing and seasonality being at the heart of Jimmy’s ethos, you can expect the finest Spanish produce from London based suppliers combined with the very best from local farms and producers. You’ll get to taste Manchego cheese with honey from Brixton, and Serrano Jamon with purple sprouting broccoli from Sussex and stracciatella cheese from Acton for example, along with a further charcuterie selection from Jimmy’s dad Papa Garcia himself! They’ll also be serving Catalan style flatbreads from the Coca oven with toppings including Tempus no8 nduja from Weybridge, Morcilla sausage and Picos de Europa blue cheese from Spain. 

And to wash it all down, the menu extends to some wonderful bespoke drinks too, with a selection of Sangria’s and special San Miguel “cocktails” including the Miguel-ada, a tomato juice, Worcester sauce, Tabasco, olive brine and fresh lime concoction topped with San Miguel and garnished with fresh lime, and the Tembloroso Pedro - Gin, fresh lemon, ginger and San Miguel, salud!

The Somerset House Terrace Bar with San Miguel is one of London’s most iconic locations and is perfect for hosting private functions. With 3 flexible options ranging from 125-300 capacity all with outdoor and covered areas or the option of extending further still along the terrace for a combined capacity of 750 - for the ultimate exclusive riverside event. 

Jimmy says “it’s taken a while but we’re finally doing a Spanish Popup! My dad is particularly thrilled to be helping out on this one!”   

The Somerset House Terrace Bar with San Miguel opens on Wednesday 27th March, midday until late daily.
