Lavender Green Flowers

Friday, June 19, 2015 - 19:00

The long evenings really suit the beautiful summer flowers that are now in season. Huge Hydrangeas are showing off their vibrant array of colours from stunningly deep purple to the classic paper white. Peonies are luxuriously full but only here in their magnificence until the end of July, with tall spires of Delphiniums, bigger than ever, also in season - perfect for those gorgeous quintessentially English country garden designs.

A temporary half term lull in corporate work after the Chelsea Flower Show, a week of 18 events for us, and we’re in full Summer swing.

As a cross-Historic Royal Palaces supplier we created displays for sensational events at the Tower of London, Kensington Palace and Hampton Court Palace this week – one palace off a jackpot!

The exciting summer exhibition at the RA opened recently and we have had the fortune of bringing in some spectacularly colourful floral designs to complement the vibrant spaces that this year’s work is housed in. One of the best Summer Shows for a few years, in our opinion. Westminster Abbey’s seasonal marquee has recently opened too and we’ve been busy installing some amazing events there in the outdoor, landmark surroundings of the Abbey’s garden. The National Portrait Gallery also played host to some bold hot pink Astilbe designs for an international drinks and dinner in the magnificent Weldon Galleries. and the V&A, Wallace Collection and BAFTA have also housed some of our quintessentially British summer flower designs.

This is, without doubt, the time to get a lot of flower for your budget!
