Lavender Green Flowers

Monday, November 16, 2015 - 09:00

One thing is certain - there is never a shortage of things to write about at Lavender Green!

As well as serving our regular Contracts Clients, delivering masses of bouquets across London and creating beautiful flowers for 48 events in the last two weeks, we have opened a store on the Chelsea/South Kensington borders, close to The Brompton Quarter. We now have a new team of Florists and Wedding Specialists staffing Lavender Green Flowers at 46, Fulham Road, SW3 6HH. We are surrounded by six other Wedding shops, including four top dress designers, and you can almost hear the wedding bells ringing when you’re in the area! As well as this we could hardly be closer to the Natural History Museum, the V&A and “Museum Land”, and only a hop and a step to Central London.

We want the store to be very much a reflection of how we “do” flowers at Lavender Green. Whilst we are delighted if people come in for a bouquet or a lovely scented candle, or to choose a gift from our range, we are all about designing flowers for Events, Parties and Weddings. So we invite all the venues at which we are accredited to come and visit us and leave their credentials for clients to see. We will also be delighted if our catering, production and event management partners come in and use our space for ‘unmolested’ client meetings - maybe after their show-round at one of the nearby event spaces.

Sue Barnes, Managing Director, says,

We are hugely excited to take what Lavender Green Flowers has done for the past 25 years into the High Street.

Bringing with us a totally new approach to large scale floristry, this store will be a sanctuary for anyone desiring

the absolute best of floral design. Our pragmatic approach to providing cutting edge creativity, coupled with our

extensive team of over 35 staff, means that the sky is the limit.”

We have been thrilled with the response to our opening from local residents and shops, and so grateful for the visits showing support of lots of Venue teams and Caterers in our first two weeks. We hope many more of you will pop in for a coffee or champagne (hick!) before too long, even though it is a very busy time for you all.

Our Event Team will always be happy to meet you at the shop, introduce you to the team, and show you around. I think they are all champing at the bit to use the space for client meetings! With our Team involved with events at all the Historic Royal Palaces, Westminster Abbey, Two Temple Place, Wallace Collection, St Pauls Cathedral and the V&A among the many venues we have decorated in the last 14 days, we now feel we are very much neighbours to those UVL spaces, with our foothold in Central London.
