Lavender Green Flowers

Saturday, September 3, 2016 - 11:30

August, as a whole, has been very quiet at the UVL sites at which Lavender Green Flowers are accredited - on the event side at least! It’s great to know that the venues LGF are privileged to work at all seem so busy with enquiries for this autumn - stimulated by the fabulous new exhibitions opening soon around London. The Capital is fizzing, and the blockbuster exhibitions are selling out fast!

Over the August bank holiday weekend LGF provided flowers for six special brides. There is a definite art to handling brides and their families and luckily Sue (MD at LGF) has the knack in spades! (It’s such a different skill than working with professional corporate clients who know what they want.) One bride set all her suppliers supreme challenges, but with patience all of them switched into automatic mode on the night and a brilliant wedding was created at one of London’s most elegant venues. The reward for all their efforts was their satisfaction that they had put on a perfect ceremony and party for the couple, their family and their guests. And some positively glowing written ‘thank yous’ tumbling in. Half of these weddings were hosted at Unique Venues of London.
Only a week prior to the Bank Holiday LGF were at Fulham Palace and Kenwood House attending to brides. Classic mirrored urns paired so nicely with the peach and white roses with the plentiful olive foliage to create beautiful, relaxed designs.
The company is predicting a bumper autumn of London events, and Pips, Alice and their team are working on lots of exciting events at venues all over London.
