Lavender Green Flowers

Monday, October 31, 2016 - 10:00

October has been far from spooky for Lavender Green Flowers. Although using pumpkins and gourds galore – picture vibrant glittery versions, and pretty pink flower walls.
At Westminster Abbey last week Lavender Green Flowers provided show-stopping designs for the premiere of sci-fi/fantasy film, Doctor Strange. Sleek black vases paired with bold, red flowers created a gothic backdrop for the star-studded gala party – perfect for this most atmospheric venue.
If you haven’t yet seen the Picasso exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, you should! It’s a real crowd puller and not to be missed!  Having launched the exhibition to Patrons, Lavender Green Flowers followed up by providing highly creative, unusual designs for the opening night sponsored event. They have been frequent visitors since then, working for a number of clients taking advantage of this exciting exhibition. One of the most interesting evenings took on a beautiful, natural Andalusian theme. For this the florist created incredible designs made up with masses of textured greenery and red alstroemeria. Earthy elements of sanded wood and rustic terracotta pots complemented the Spanish southern coast styling of this event.
The Natural History Museum’s annual Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards is always a special event amongst the UVL calendar of super events. For this LGF created unique, bespoke displays Although still using the traditional mirrored urns and textured autumnal Hydrangea, they mixed in contemporary wooden frames and clever ‘vase-less’ designs of hanging icy white flowers. Compliments and congratulations flew!
At the National Gallery the team created flower runners hanging suspended in mid-air in the centre of charcoal, wooden frames to “wow” guests to a beautiful event in the timeless Wohl Gallery.
With Christmas now present in many big shops Lavender Green Flowers is putting the finishing touches to plans for the installation of a mass of decorated trees in and around London for client offices, private homes, hotels and UVL venues!
